Newcastle United vs Manchester United 0-1

Ashley Young's last-gasp winner earned Manchester United a precious 1-0 victory at Newcastle United to keep Louis van Gaal's men in pole position for a top-four finish in the Barclays Premier League.
After missing a number of chances during the match, the visitors finally found the net in the 89th minute, as Young pounced on an error by Tim Krul to keep United fourth in table.
Man Utd dictated proceedings for long periods before the break, but neither team could create a clear-cut opportunity.
Newcastle's Jonas Gutierrez made his long-awaited return from cancer in the second half, as manager John Carver looked to counter the visitors' dominance with work rate.
But the match ultimately ended in disappointment for Newcastle, as Young steered home from close range shortly before the finish, giving Man Utd all three points in trademark fashion.
Despite being substituted halfway through Man Utd's 2-0 win over Sunderland on Saturday, Angel Di Maria retained his place in the starting line-up, with Marouane Fellaini replacing Radamel Falcao as Van Gaal's only change.
And the Argentinian put United into trouble after only eight minutes, as Gabriel Obertan cut out his cross-field pass and fed Emmanuel Riviere, who blazed over from the edge of the area.
Newcastle were then lucky to remain level 16 minutes later, as Young knocked Di Maria's cross into the area for Wayne Rooney, who brought the ball down on his chest and stabbed wide from 12 yards.
With the opening period drawing to a close Krul palmed away a Fellaini header on the stroke of half-time.
Proceedings became considerably more frantic in the second half and both sides saw glorious chances go begging.
Newcastle were the first to go close in the 49th minute and they found Man Utd goalkeeper David de Gea at his best, as the Spaniard denied Riviere from point-blank range.
Krul was forced to match his counterpart a few moments later, rushing out to thwart Fellaini and then also blocking Young's effort from the rebound.
Carver introduced Gutierrez for Ryan Taylor with 25 minutes left and his entrance initially boosted Newcastle, who almost instantly crafted a fine chance, Cisse missing the target after being fed by Ayoze Perez.
And the visitors capitalised on that let-off with only a minute to go, as Krul panicked and played his clearance straight to Young, who coolly slotted into the bottom-left corner to secure a dramatic late win for the visitors.
Newcastle United manager John Carver: "I'm devastated, I'm annoyed. I needed five to 10 minutes to calm down.
"Our guys gave every inch. But when you play Man Utd you have to concentrate for every minute and we didn't.
"I think we had the best chances and you have to put one of those away.
"You just wonder if they will hit you on the sucker punch and they did. I'm devastated for our guys."
Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal: "I think we have dominated for 90 minutes, maybe our best match of the season, especially in an away match we deserved the victory.
"We didn't reward ourselves in the first half. It was a narrow escape because our rivals have won also so it's a rat race.
"We have created a lot of chances and could have scored much earlier.
"They also made two big chances and I think David de Gea rescued us at that time."
